Greenwich Woman Charged with Criminal Damage to Property

Greenwich Police arrested a local woman on July 17 and charged her with Criminal Damage to Property 1st degree, a class D felony.

Caitlin Moran Hayes, 43, was wanted on an active arrest warrant.

Police say an incident stemmed back to January 18, 2024 in the area of Dwight Lane and involved Ms Hayes allegedly damaging the property that she had resided in and was leasing from the victim.

The warrant was issued on July 7. The warrant was signed by the Honorable Judge Golger.

Hayes’ bond was set at $5,000. She was able to post the required 7% ($350). She was taken into custody without incident and processed. She was subsequently released from police custody.

She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 31, 2024.

The charges from her arrest in July 2023 – Issuing Bad Check over $2,000 (class D felony) and two charges of Larceny 1 (class B felonies) – also continue to work their way through Stamford Superior Court. Her next court date on those charges is 7/22/2024.
