Greenwich Police officers on patrol in the area of Delavan Ave on Sunday around 4:15am in Byram spotted a car traveling eastbound and cross the double yellow line.
Police stopped the car in the area of Ritch Ave and Shore Rd. Investigation revealed the driver, identified as Luis Mendiola-Gallegos, 27, of Cummings Ave in Stamford, had red glassy eyes. He was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.
A DMV check revealed Mr. Mendiola-Gallegos did not possess a valid driver’s license.
He was charged with DUI, Failure to Maintain Lane and Driving without a License.
He was released on $250 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 13, 2020.
