On Sunday, Greenwich Police responded to Tod’s Point on a report of a trespasser in the park, which is closed by order of the First Selectman to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Around 4:00pm police arrested Peter Phillips, 35, of Harbor Point in Stamford.
Police say Phillips had jumped the front gate where there is a sign clearly posted “Park Closed,” and entered the park.
Phillips has a date in court on July 2, 2020.
Last week police arrested two bicyclists who entered the closed park were charged with Trespassing.
