Greenwich Man Charged after Damaging Bedroom Door and Walls in Argument

On Tuesday morning Greenwich Police officers were detailed to Chickahominy on a report of an argument between two people.

Both parties were located by police who determined that a bedroom door and walls had been damaged by the offender, Randy Brown, 20, of Oak Ridge Street in Greenwich.

Brown was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief 2.

His bond was set at $1,000 and he was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 1, 2020. Brown was arrested prior to Stamford Court being closed. His appearance was switched to court Bridgeport.

Brown has a history with Greenwich Police. In 2018 Police were conducting a motor vehicle stop in front of 181 West Putnam Ave when they recognized a him walking down the sidewalk and knew he had an active arrest warrant. While Mr. Brown was being arrested, police found a plastic bag containing marijuana. The warrant stemmed to an incident at the Shell station on West Putnam Ave where Brown allegedly stole a container of 24 JUUL e-cigarette pods. He was charged with Larceny 5 and Interfering with an Officer.
