Jose A Cebanos-Monfil, 26, of 4 Ivy Street was arrested on Feb 26 after Greenwich Police found him and a male passenger asleep at the wheel in the area of 115 Henry Street in Byram.
According to Greenwich Police, upon arrival, the men were unresponsive to verbal commands and knocks on the car’s windows.
Officers then opened up the driver’s side door and woke up the driver, Mr. Cebanos-Monfil, who was identified by his driver’s license.
After police detected the odor of alcoholic beverage, Mr. Cebanos-Monfil was charged with DUI and Improper Parking. His bond was set at $250, which he was able to post. He was released to a family member and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 13, 2017.
