GPD Spot Drunk Driver Stuck on Rocks in Glenville

Around 3:00am on Friday Greenwich Police on patrol in the area of Pemberwick in Glenville observed a car parked on the wrong side of the road with its front bumper wedged up against a rock barrier.

Investigation revealed that the driver, Rachael Conway of Jorelomen St in Belleville NJ showed signs of impairment, which was confirmed when she was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.

She was charged with DUI, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, Illegal Possession and Illegal Possession of a Weapon in a Motor Vehicle.

According to Lt Slusarz, the weapon was a taser, but he explained that it was not a police grade taser that shoots a dart.

Her bond was set at $1,000, which she was unable to post. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 9, 2018.
