On July 21 around 4:00am Greenwich Police on patrol in Byram spotted a car traveling east on Delavan Ave with its headlights off and crossing the double yellow line.
A DMV query revealed that the registration had expired.
Police stopped the car and conducted field sobriety tests of the driver, Danny Alexander Dominguez-Grijalba, 23, of West Ave in Stamford, who did not have a driver’s license.
Mr. Dominguez-Grijalba did not perform field sobriety tests to standard. He was charged with Driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, DUI, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, Driving without a License and Failure to Display Lights.
He was released on $250 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 5, 2019.
