On Saturday Greenwich Police held their annual Police day event.
It was well attended, and the community enjoyed speaking with officers, Sergeants, Detectives, and Deputy Chief Bonney.

In addition to displays about the Special Response Unit (a.k.a. SWAT), the Dive Team, and one of the town’s motorcycle units, there was also a bouncy castle, free ice cream, and hot dogs served by Sgt. Thorme and officer Dan Paladino from the Community Impact Office.
Police Chief Jim Heavey hopes that events like this further strengthen ties between the police department and residents.
