Cops Nab Shoplifter at CVS, Find 3 Controlled Substances in Suspect’s Pill Container

On Wednesday morning, multiple Greenwich Police units responded to 644 West Putnam Ave, the address associated with CVS Pharmacy, on the report of a shoplifter who had just exited the store and was walking on West Putnam Ave.

The shoplifter was described as white woman wearing red shorts and a black t-shirt. A white male was observed in the area wearing the described clothing while walking with a white female.

The woman, identified via her BJ membership card, which has a photo on it, as Tinamarie Bordonaro, 31, of 260 7th Street, Saint James, NY, was with the man in the store. It was observed on video footage that the man was walking immediately behind Bordonaro with a shopping cart as she was secreting products within her purse.

According to Greenwich Police, it appeared on the video that the man was serving as a lookout, and that when confronted about the merchandise within Bordonaro’s purse by the store manager, both subjects fled without paying.

Bordonaro was in possession of a small clear plastic pill container containing three different controlled dangerous substances.

Bordonaro was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 6,  Larceny 6, three counts of Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance, and three counts of Failure to Keep Narcotics in Original Container.

She was assigned a court date August 17, 2016 at Stamford Superior Court with a bond of $100.
