Bright Orange “Bump Ahead” Signs Vanish from DPW Work Site

Greenwich Police report that five bright orange reflective traffic signs went missing from the area of Lindsay Drive and North Street some time between 5:00pm on Aug 1 and 7:00am on Aug 3.

The signs, valued at $65 each, are town property, belonging to the Greenwich Dept of Public Works who have been repaving North Street.

According to Greenwich Police Lieutenant John Slusarz, three of the signs said, “Bump Ahead,” and two said “Bump.”

The value of the five stolen signs is about $325.00.
