Greenwich Farmers Market Opens May 16 in Horseneck Lot

The YMCA of Greenwich welcomed more than 450 attendees to its annual Healthy Kids Day, marking the largest turnout in the event’s history. YMCA staff members hosted a wide variety of activities throughout the building, including:

• Make-your-own sunflower pots
• DIY organic bird feeders
• Slime making stations
• Tie-dye t-shirt creation
• Push-up and squat contests
• Water safety games
• An obstacle course experience for kids

Because they couldn’t find healthy personal care products, they started Tom’s of Maine in 1970 with a $5,000 loan from a friend.
