Plans Proposed to Demolish & Reconstruct Historic Building at 2 Greenwich Ave, Plus 2 Adjacent Buildings

A pre-application has been submitted to the Town of Greenwich Planning and Zoning Commission to demolish three existing structures: 2 Greenwich Avenue, 10 Greenwich Avenue, and 10–12 West Putnam Avenue, to consolidate the three contiguous parcels and construct a new mixed-use building containing ground-floor and  below-grade retail, 14 residential apartments.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will be in the high 80’s and could well feel as though they are even hotter. There is a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday and due to the humidity, it is expected to feel very hot and dangerous outside.

Greenwich Police Arrest NY Man after Attempted Bank Fraud Transaction

Police said the suspect presented a counterfeit Citizens Bank check in the amount of $4,950 using the victim’s account information. A search of the arrestee’s vehicle revealed several blank check stock, a wireless printer, paper with practice signatures, the counterfeit check, and a bank debit card.
