John Augustus Frederick, 88, entered eternal rest on February 11, 2025. John, affectionately known as “Jack” and “the Bopper”, was born on June 24, 1936, in Greenwich, CT to Una (McDonough) Frederick and Augustus C. Frederick, Sr. Jack spent many years growing up as a Boy Scout and attended the 1950 Jamboree. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 1954 and joined the United States Army, which he proudly served from 1955-1958. He also served in France during part of his time in the Army.
