This community tradition raises funds to support swim lesson scholarships. Through its partnership with Greenwich Public Schools, the YMCA evaluates approximately 600 fourth-grade students each year to assess their water safety skills. Students who need additional support are offered free eight-week swim lesson sessions at the YMCA. This year, 89 local students qualified for the program.
