Dingletown Road to Be Closed for Bridge Repair over Rockwood Lake Brook

Commencing on June 5, 2017, construction will begin on the Dingletown Road Bridge Rehabilitation project.

The bridge is located on Dingletown Road between Perkins Road and Doubling Road.

As part of the construction work, the road is scheduled to be closed at the bridge site from Monday, June 5, 2017 to September 2017. The project is scheduled to be completed by December 2017.

The project was designed by AI Engineers, Inc. of Middletown, CT. The construction will be performed by A. Vitti Excavators, LLC of Stamford, CT. The construction contract for the project is for $198,637.00.

The following detour will be established:

Traffic wanting to travel eastbound on Dingletown Road shall utilize North Street to Fairfield Road to Stanwich Road.

Traffic wanting to travel westbound on Dingletown Road shall utilize Stanwich Road to Fairfield Road to North Street.
