Greenwich Skating Club and Shannon Doyle Invite 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Girls To Come Try Ice Hockey

Calling all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls: Do you want to play Girls Ice Hockey or learn more about the  Greenwich Skating Club girls program?

Come out and give it a try on Saturday, Feb 24 from 10:45am to 11:45am. Snacks and treats to follow.

This is a great chance for young girls in town to try out ice hockey at the  Greenwich Skating Club. The event will be run by Shannon Doyle, who is a professional women’s hockey player for the CT Whale, which plays out of Terry Conners in Stamford. She is also the Greenwich Skating Club U14 head coach.

Girls should bring whatever equipment they have…hockey skates, helmet, and sticks. Greenwich Skating Club will have donated hockey skates, sticks and equipment on hand to fill in the blanks.  The club will also have volunteers standing by to help the girls get their equipment on.  Girls should plan to arrive 30 minutes early to get dressed.

The event is at the Greenwich Skating Club, 15 Cardinal Rd, Greenwich, CT.
