Greenwich Road Runners is a community based running group started in 2015 by a small group of runners just looking for people to run with. The group has since blossomed into an over 75 member 501c3 organization affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America.

Greenwich Road Runners mission has always been to provide a fun community based running organization for everyone from the first time runner to the veteran marathoner.

The group now hosts multiple weekly group runs throughout the Greenwich community and a special monthly run sponsored by Athleta starting at their store front on Greenwich Ave.

In 2022 Greenwich Road Runners is also excited to launch several new programs/events. A Summer Youth Track clinic through a partnership with the Greenwich Parks & Recreation department. The clinic is designed to introduce children to the basics of running with an emphasis on “FUN”. Lastly, with the help of our sponsors, First County Bank, Old Greenwich Social Club, Whole Foods and Athleta, GRR is bringing a Race series to Greenwich!

After the Father’s Day Race on Friday June 17, there will be two additional races – one in July and a holiday fun run in early December.

The races will benefit local charitable Organizations. The first being the Greenwich Parks and Recreation Foundation Youth Scholarship Fund.
