Request for Nominations: Second Annual Sustainability Awards

 

The Greenwich Sustainability Committee is pleased to solicit nominations for its Second Annual Sustainability Awards, to be awarded at the Rethink Waste Fair organized by Waste Free Greenwich to be held on Saturday, April 6 at Christ Church.

For more information about the Sustainability Committee please go to its page on the Town’s website: Sustainability Committee | Greenwich, CT (greenwichct.gov) Nominations should include a photo of the candidate and statement (no more than 150 words) describing how the candidate promotes sustainability in Greenwich. Nominees must be Greenwich residents or attend school in Greenwich.  Awards will be given to individuals, not organizations or businesses.  Greenwich Sustainability Committee members are ineligible for the award. In accordance with the Greenwich Sustainability Committee’s vision statement, a particular focus will be given to youth. Nominations should be submitted no later than March 15 to  [email protected].
