Next for the Wrecking Ball in Greenwich: Field Point Mansion Featured in Wall Street Journal

Notice has been filed with Greenwich’s DPW Division of Buildings for a permit to demolish 421 Field Point Rd.

The gated home was built in 1923 and purchased for $5,200,000 on August 3, 2015 by Andrew Milgram who is the applicant on the demolition permit application.

The 8,089 square feet home has some views of Greenwich Harbor, as well as 6 bedrooms, 7 full baths, 7 fireplaces, indoor pool, solarium and a tennis court.

The home was featured on December 2, 2014 as Wall Street Journal‘s ‘House of the Day’ and described as having gone “from a state of disrepair to a warm and spacious estate.”

Further information concerning this pending application may be obtained by contacting the DPW-Division of Buildings 203-622-7894. As the house was constructed before 1940,  and objection to the demolition of the above building or structure must be sent in writing to DPW – Division of Buildings within 45 days or the required 90 day waiting period established by Town ordinance will waived.
