Riverside School held the Riverside Run on Saturday, May 7, 2022, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The rain and wind did not stop participants from putting forth their best efforts to run through the neighborhood in this beloved community event now in its 37th year.
In addition to the main run, a series of “Fun Runs” for children in kindergarten through 5th grade were held in front of the school.
Top overall finishers received trophies while medals were awarded to top finishers within each age group.
With 600 runners, the event raised funds for Riverside School. Proceeds of the event will go towards PTA programs that enrich classroom curriculum and support teachers and staff.
