Patrick “Rick” Izzo, 62

Mr. Patrick “Rick” Anthony Izzo Jr, son of the late Dr. Patrick Anthony Izzo and his mother Maxine Hall Izzo, was born March 17, 1955 in Stamford.

Rick passed away on May 15, 2017 spending his final years in Dorset, VT. He grew up in Greenwich, CT having loved ice hockey, boating, music, water and alpine skiing, fishing, travel and the blessings of nature. All passions were passed onto his children and friends. He attended secondary school at Brunswick and Vermont Academy. He later attended New England College where he played both ice hockey and lacrosse.

He was married to Andrée Hussar in August of 1982. They had four children that he adored spending time with and were his most cherished accomplishments.

His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Patrick Anthony Izzo III, Sarah Elizabeth Izzo, Peri Ellen Izzo, and Andrew James Izzo; his loving mother, Maxine Hall Izzo of Harrisburg, PA; sister, Paula Izzo Cameron and her husband Donald David Cameron both of Harrisburg, PA; three aunts and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rick was baptized a Roman Catholic as a child and had accepted the lord Jesus Christ as his savior and now rests in the comfort of God’s eternity.

A wake will be held at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich on Tuesday May 23 from 4:00-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday May 24 at St. Matthews Church in Bedford, NY at 1:00pm. His final internment will be private in Vermont.
