John Vancho, of Stamford, passed away peacefully, November 18. He was 69. Born in Port Chester, May 24, 1947 to the late Louise and John Vancho, he graduated from St. Mary’s High School and later Pace University in 1969.
John was an avid sportsman, who loved to play golf with friends, and to watch his grandson Sean play baseball. John also cherished family vacations on The Cape.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Doreen. John is survived by his loving daughters, Dena E Haight (Patrick) and Bethany L. Vancho (Jeffrey Mullin), the loves of his life, grandsons, Sean Patrick Haight, Connor Morgan Haight, and granddog Cooper.
To honor his life, family and friends will gather Monday 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. Greenwich (203) 869-5968.
A prayer service will be held at the funeral home the evening of Monday Nov. 21. Committal is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
