Donald B. Gioffre, formerly of Rye Brook, NY, passed away Tuesday, August 15.
Born August 22, 1943, to the late Senator Anthony B. and Louise Gioffre, Donald was active in serving both his country as an Airman in the Air Force Reserve, as well as his local community as the Rye Town Supervisor. He also was the proprietor of Ridge Squire Ltd.
Donald leaves behind his beloved wife Renee (nee Mastromonaco), his loving sons Anthony B. III (Rouxle), Brandon (Michele), and Daryl (Chelsea); his cherished grandchildren Malia, Kaia, Kenna, Taylor, Arianna, Olivia, Brayden and Alea.
He is also survived by his dear brothers, The Honorable Bruno J. Gioffre (Snowy) and Anthony B. Gioffre (Noell). He is predeceased by his sister Ann Gioffre DeCarlo (Anthony DeCarlo).
To honor his life, a memorial gathering will be held Friday Aug 18 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Greenwich location of Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave.
A memorial mass will take place Saturday 9:00am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to “No Greater Sacrifice” www.nogreatersacrifice.org.
