Maman, the French bakery and café that opened last month at 98 Greenwich Ave, is the brand’s 30th location, but its first in Connecticut. The provençal-inspired café, founded by Eliza Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte, specializes in salads, sandwiches, and nutty chocolate chip cookies.
Maman classics include a daily quiche, smashed avocado tartine, make your own three egg omelette, egg salad tartine, farmhouse granola parfait, overnight oats, and Brenda’s Belgian waffles. There is an extensive list of salads and soups as well as sandwiches and tartines.
Recently, The Sill, New York City’s popular plant shop, expanded to Connecticut with its pop up inside Maman. The plant boutique sells a curated selection of greenery, ceramic planters and plant accessories. This includes flowering plants such as orchids and bromeliads, and pet-friendly plants as well.
Maman and The Sill are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
