Trevor Crow Unanimously Endorsed by 36th Senate District Democrats

On Tuesday evening, Trevor Crow was unanimously endorsed by Democratic delegates to the 36th State Senate District convention, held virtually by Zoom with delegates from Greenwich, Stamford and New Canaan participating.

“This campaign was always going to be a serious undertaking, but last week’s news that the Supreme Court is going to eviscerate Roe v. Wade means fundamental freedoms are now at stake,” Crow said in a release on Wednesday. “Connecticut has to be a firewall, but that can’t happen if people like my opponent hold power. There is only one pro-choice, pro-freedom candidate in this race: me.”

“Trevor Crow is that rare candidate who really, truly knows how to listen,” said Ryan Oca, the Greenwich DTC member who nominated her at the convention. “So when the Supreme Court threatens to gut reproductive freedoms, Trevor hears how besieged women and their allies feel. But she also hears how ready they are, how ready we all are, for this fight. It means the world that we have someone as compassionate as Trevor leading the way.”

Trevor Crow is a mother, Certified Executive Coach, author, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) and Supervisor. She was also a founding member of the New York Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy, a former member of the Marriage and Family Therapy Advisory Board of Fairfield University, and has served as a board member of the Ackerman Institute for the Family and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Pequot Library and the Center for Family Justice.
