The League of Women Voters of Greenwich will hold its Annual Dinner on May 16, 2018, at the Riverside Yacht Club, beginning with cocktails at 6:30 p.m.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Kevin R. Convey of Quinnipiac University’s Department of Journalism. Mr. Convey has enjoyed a long career as a journalist and editor including as editor in chief of the New York Daily News and the Boston Herald. He is the author of a forthcoming book about the contemporary newsroom.
The title of his talk is “Crisis in the Media and the Future of the Fourth Estate.”
Interested non-members are cordially invited to attend.
Tickets are $75 each before May 8 and $90 thereafter.
