As part of its 2023 Greenwich Municipal Election debate series, the League of Women Voters of Greenwich on Monday announced it will host a debate for Town Clerk.
This debate is in addition to the debates previously announced for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, and Board of Estimate and Taxation.
The debate for Town Clerk will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, October 25 at 7:00pm.
The candidates for Town Clerk are Republican Jackie Budkins (incumbent) and her Democratic challenge, Lucy Von Brachel.
Audience questions must be submitted in advance upon registration. The deadline to submit questions is October 20. A Zoom link will be sent to all registrants on October 25.
The LWV Greenwich had planned to also do a debate for Tax Collector, but it was not possible to find a time when both candidates for Tax Collector could debate together.
