On Tuesday August 11, there will be a Democratic Primary and a Republican Primary.
Only registered Democrats and registered Republicans may vote in their respective primaries.
Unaffiliated voters are not eligible to vote in the primaries.
In Greenwich, the Democratic Party Primary will determine the Democratic candidate for Governor for the November 3 Election. The Republican Party Primary will determine the Republican candidate for one federal office, U. S. Representative for this November 3 Election.
All eligible voters can vote either by absentee ballot or in person. Polling places will be open from 6 AM to 8 PM.
For the primary elections only, three polling places have changed.
District 6 will vote at the Cohen Eastern Greenwich Civic Center.
District 7 will vote at North Street School Gym
District 8 will vote at North Street School Cafeteria
The polling places for the other districts are unchanged.
District 1 will vote at Julian Curtiss School.
District 2 will vote at Town Hall.
District 3 will vote at Western Middle School.
District 4 will vote at New Lebanon School.
District 5 will vote at Riverside School.
District 9 will vote at Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center.
District 10 will vote at Glenville School.
District 11 will vote at North Street School Gym.
District 12 will vote at North Mianus School.
There is also 7 days of early voting, starting Monday August 3 and ending Sunday August 9. Early voting is daily from 10am to 6pm with extended hours from 8am to 8pm on August 4 and August 6. All early voting occurs at Greenwich Town Hall.
