On Wednesday, October 30, 8:15pm in the Town Hall Meeting Room: The Democratic Town Committee will sponsor “Meet Molly Saleeby, Candidate for Town Clerk.”
Since Town Clerk Carmella Budkins (R) who is running for re-election is unavailable to debate, this meet the candidate event, which is not affiliated with the Greenwich League of Women Voters, is intended by the DTC to give Ms Saleeby a chance to explain her plans as Town Clerk and take questions from the audience.
The event will take place immediately following the League of Women Voters-sponsored debate between candidates for Tax Collector.
The Tax Collector Debate, sponsored by the League of Women Voters Greenwich, is scheduled for 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the Town Hall meeting room. This debate Incumbent Democrat Howard Richman vs Republican Heather Smeriglio. The moderator will be Marianne Pollak from Stamford, former Stamford League President.
