In the early morning hours of Oct 10 Greenwich Police say Victor Ansart, 27, of Shore Rd in Old Greenwich crashed a car and fled the scene on the east side of town.
Officers say that when they located Ansart at a location away from the crash he was not cooperative.
On Wednesday Greenwich Police Ansart turned himself in to police on an active arrest warrant.
He was charged Interfering with an Officer, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane and Evading Responsibility/with Injury/Property Damage.
He was able to post his $2,000 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 6, 2019.
