The slumber party is over and many people successfully purchased their new iPhone6 phones on Friday at the Apple Store on Greenwich Ave. On Thursday night hundreds spent the night on the sidewalk, with the first in line claiming to have arrived at 8:00am Thursday morning.
Friday morning the line had swelled. Throngs of phone-hungry customers joined the line and Greenwich Police were busy moving pedestrians and traffic along.
By lunchtime, the line had died down but still stretched nearly to RH. Apple staff moved in and out keeping tabs on the line and security guards could be spotted along the sidewalk.
