Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care announced it has opened its first center in North Stamford.
The North Stamford center, located at 1011 High Ridge Road just south of the Merritt Parkway, opened Wednesday, April 3 to better serve patients who live and work in Fairfield County.
Conveniently located near Trader Joe’s and CVS, the new center allows patients to see an urgent care provider at their neighborhood center for diagnosis and treatment of non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries. When necessary, patients can also receive seamless referrals to Nuvance Health’s robust network of primary and specialty care providers.

The new center features an award-winning design that includes bold colors, wooden accents and an open floor plan to foster a comfortable patient experience. The center’s warm color palette and lighting also ensure patients feel a sense of ease and healing at every stage of their visit.
It offers patients aged 6 months and older care for conditions including flu, fever, earaches, insect bites, sprains, simple fractures, eye injuries and cuts requiring stitches. It is open every day, including holidays with regular hours from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday through Sunday.
The North Stamford center is the first Nuvance Health-GoHealth center to open in Fairfield County. An additional center is expected to open in Danbury later this year.
