Following a full relaunch in November 2025, Greenwich Girl, the hyper-local media brand founded by Laura McKittrick, enters 2026 with a refined identity and a clear editorial mission. Once categorized as an influencer platform, Greenwich Girl has intentionally rebranded into a trusted local media hub, serving as a go-to source for what is worth readers’ time, money, and attention in Greenwich, Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

According to a release from McKittrick, the relaunch marked a decisive shift away from influencer culture and toward an editorial-first approach, with Greenwich Girl positioning itself as “the friend who does not gatekeep.” Content is informed, direct, and intentionally digestible, designed to help readers make confident, real-world decisions through recommendations curated with a journalistic lens that prioritizes usefulness, clarity, and credibility over promotion. As part of this evolution, the Greenwich Girl website was redesigned to reflect modern consumption habits, now operating as a continuously updated feed of recent features, each written to take under one minute to read, reinforcing the brand’s role as a daily local resource that respects readers’ time while maintaining substance.
In tandem with the relaunch, McKittrick has introduced Greenwich Media House, where she and her team will provide social media management and brand storytelling services for businesses, operating independently from Greenwich Girl’s editorial platform. With multiple new initiatives scheduled to roll out throughout 2026, expansion is actively underway as Greenwich Girl and Greenwich Media House continue to grow with intention, integrity, and community at the core.
