I write to express my strong support for the candidacy of Hector Arzeno for State Rep in the 151 st District. I have known Hector for more than twenty-five years.
We first met as coaches for our children’s Town soccer team. Hector taught me much more than the basics of soccer – he taught me about service to the community, where he has played various important roles for more than thirty years.
Hector is an independent thinker, a former international banker who since retiring has been one of the most active and productive members of the RTM, bringing a practical, non-partisan and refreshing approach to problem solving.
Hector was unaffiliated before registering as a Democrat and over the years has voted for political figures from both parties.
Hector’s values align to support common sense gun control legislation, women’s right to choose, affordable housing but under local, i.e. Town of Greenwich control and innovative solutions to the financial challenges facing our state.
Hector’s long private sector experience will serve his constituents well as we work at the state level to solicit new businesses to come to Connecticut. He knows that employers and employees seek communities with excellent public schools, and with transportation and other amenities that young families will find attractive.
I am proud to have a “Hec Yes” banner at our home and urge you to support Hector in his candidacy. He will bring his fine constituent-minded values of service to Hartford and will be an excellent representative for ALL the people of the 151 st District.
