I have known Steve Meskers for many years, going back to when I was new to the PTA world and he was a member of the Representative Town Meeting’s Education Committee. Time passed, Steve was elected to serve as the State Representative for the 150th District and I have served many roles in Town government – RTM member, Selectperson, Greenwich Sustainability Committee Co-Chair. Throughout the years I have watched him at work and called upon him for advice and support.
Our roles may have changed but Steve has not. He has always been deeply engaged in Town affairs and selflessly available to his constituents when they need his help. Steve treats people with respect and works to find solutions.
Steve has made sure our community’s needs are heard in Hartford. Since he has been elected he has brought over 40 million dollars back to Greenwich, supporting the programs, infrastructure, and services that make our town stronger.
In Hartford, Steve has a place at the table and he knows how to use it. He has used his considerable influence to protect local zoning. He understands that a strong economy is essential to Connecticut’s future. As Chair of the Commerce Committee, he supports policies that make it easier for Connecticut to attract and retain businesses, encourage investment, create good jobs, and give entrepreneurs the opportunity to succeed.
Steve Meskers is a demonstrated leader, the one we want in our corner. I am proud to endorse Steve Meskers and encourage voters in the 150th District to join me in returning him to Hartford.
