The Police Officers Association of Connecticut, which represents municipal police unions across the State, has endorsed State Representative Kimberly Fiorello for re-election to the General Assembly.
A release from the Fiorello campaign said the endorsement is based upon Kimberly Fiorello’s support on issues that are important to police officers and their families, including her commitment to public safety and protection and to fair working conditions for the men and women who put their lives on the line each day to protect and serve Connecticut’s communities.
The Police Officers Association of Connecticut represents 5,000 sworn police officers and their families from both small towns and cities.
“The men and women of our police departments who protect us every day deserve our support and
admiration” said State Rep. Fiorello in a release. “It is truly an honor to receive the endorsement of the Police Officers Association of Connecticut that recognizes my commitment to them and to the safety of our communities.”
