For the past year, I have closely followed the work of Stephen Meskers, State Representative for the 150th District. He has earned my respect for his thoughtful and independent approach to issues, his congenial and collaborative manner, and his near-constant dedication to our
community.
Rep. Meskers has successfully handled dozens of constituent issues related to residents’ economic and health concerns due to COVID.
He has interceded on behalf of local non-profits to ensure continuity of emergency services to our neighbors in need.
And, he holds public and private entities to account to ensure Greenwich gets the services and answers we deserve. He takes his position seriously and navigates important policy questions, such as ensuring equitable access to healthcare, with the understanding that his efforts have a direct impact on people’s lives.
Rep. Meskers sits on the Energy and Technology Committee where he has an important voice in ensuring Eversource and other utilities work for the citizens – and not the other way around!
If you have met Stephen, you will know that he uses a combination of charm and tenacity to obtain outcomes. If you haven’t met Stephen…you should! You will quickly learn why he is so well liked in our state capitol and why he is so effective at his job.
Stephen Meskers cares about people and outcomes. He has been an excellent state representative. I am voting for Stephen Meskers in November. I urge our community to support him as well.
