I first met Peter Sherr when he was on the Board of Education. He was frequently quoted in the local newspapers and I was impressed with his positions on various education issues. He seemed always to put parents and their kids first. Peter is passionate about quality education for the students in Greenwich and I know will apply this passion to the constituents in the 151st District.
He is not shy, but speaks with confidence supported by facts. He understands the issues facing our Town: improving the quality of education, preserving our neighborhoods and maintaining the quality of life in Greenwich that we have been accustomed to.
I’ve seen Peter going door to door to meet voters in my neighborhood. Everyone says he’s friendly and is taking the time to hear their issues and concerns. It seems his reputation for listening to parents on the school board would be the same if he were our representative in Hartford.
Someone who would stand-up for us, listen to learn more, and not follow a political party mandate is exactly what I’m looking for this election.
