Dignity, honor, compassion and respect.
This is the recognition our soon to be President Biden and Vice President Harris gave to the 400,000 Americans who have lost their lives thus far from Covid-19, and to their families, friends and the nurses and doctors who have suffered and witnessed loss of loved ones, at the short yet moving memorial held Tuesday night at the Lincoln Memorial and the poignantly lighted reflecting pool.
A Covid-caring nurse from Michigan sang “Amazing Grace” and “Hallelujah.”
Hallelujah indeed! It won’t happen overnight, but the incoming President has set us on a course of a United States of America.
