I am in Agreement with Dr. Goldstein (GOLDSTEIN: On Electric Blowers, Don’t Ask Greenwich to Subsidize Private Business Dec 1, 2023) to a point. I agree that Greenwich Taxpayers should not subsidize private landscapers for having to buy Electric Lead Blowers and apologize for the misunderstanding.
What I propose is that the organizations and individuals supporting the ordinance on limiting the use of gas-powered leaf blowers subsidize the conversion costs.
