Jen Behette: It is sad and frustrating that I am continually mischaracterized

Submitted by Jen Behette

While I will not comment on the legalities nor the political atmosphere of the current situation, I WILL comment on the picture that is trying to be painted of my character. Mr. Camillo does not have his facts correct when it pertains to me. If you want to know the truth – hear it from me, the person in question. What I said to several members of the Republican party was as follows:

Regarding caucusing – I said I do not see a reason why I would not caucus with the Republicans. I thought it was important to understand thoughts and reasoning of the Republican side.

Regarding the Chair position – I said that if selected, I would have been on the Board for a very short period of time. I would need more information to make an informed decision as to who would be best suited for the position. Those are the facts.

It is incredibly sad and frustrating that I am continually mischaracterized without Mr. Camillo ever having spoken to me directly.

I welcome him to reach out to me.

Jen Behette
