Vote for Proven Success. Rachel Khanna is currently serving in the Connecticut House of Representatives (149th district) in Hartford. If you have not met her in person, you have missed a treat! Rachel turns up consistently at every event that encourages celebrations of individuals or causes which will add improvements to Greenwich and Stamford.
Among her accomplishments in her first term include:
1. Increased funding for public schools by millions of dollars
2. Supported a balanced bipartisan State budget
3. Helped pass the first income tax cuts since the 1990’s
4. Expanded access to birth control and abortion rights
5. Succeeded in bringing $100 million back to our residents for school construction, road improvements and other local projects
Please re-elect Rachel Khanna! Join the many local voters who have noticed her bi-partisan successes, her accessibility, her frequent communications with her electorate and her visible enjoyment of her hometown, her husband and their four daughters. Personally, I am delighted with her fervent support of local control of development guided by our very outstanding volunteer Planning and Zoning Commission.
As an involved citizen of Greenwich since my childhood, I listen to the many comments from friends and neighbors about the excellence of Rachel’s first term as a Representative. Why should we change in the face of great job performance?
