Up at Greenwich Animal Control on North Street (next to North Street School) Ralphie, a Black Mouth Cur, is a sweet, handsome boy who is about 1-1/2 years old and weighs about 50-60 lbs.
Ralphie was very fearful when he came to the shelter, but has gained a lot of confidence from the attention and care of the shelter staff. He still alternates between fearful and confident behavior, but he is a good dog who will continue to improve with an experienced, patient and understanding owner.
Ralphie would do well in a home with a calm, confident dog to buddy up with, help reduce his fears and show him what life is like in a loving home.
