There will be a low-cost microchip clinic at Greenwich Animal Control at 393 North Street on Sunday, Oct 15 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon.
The cost is $10 per pet (cash or check only). Microchips enable pets to be identified if they are separated from you.
It is an important part of emergency preparedness.Dr.Shelley Skipit, DVM of Park Animal Hospital in Darien will be at the shelter to microchip pets.
Pets must be healthy. Dogs must be leashed and cats in carriers.
The clinic is limited to Greenwich residents and town employees. (203) 622-8299.
