YWCA Greenwich’s Director of Aquatics Celebrating 20 Years

Pitching for a Purpose: MLB Legends Play Ball at the Nick Loeb Foundation ‘Party with the Police’

The event was the foundation’s 4th annual party to support the children of local law enforcement officers by raising funds toward college scholarships. In what was truly a ‘field of dreams’ experience, young people had a chance to play on the same field as Major League Baseball legends.  Beyond swinging, learning and laughing alongside the athletes, the opportunity was a powerful reminder that with the right guidance, inspiration, and community support, dreams, even the big-league kind, can come true. 19th Annual Swim Across America – Fairfield County Open Water Swim Swim Raises $400,000 for Cancer Research

Hundreds of people participated in the ½-mile, 1.5-miles or 3-mile swim along the Stamford/Greenwich shore all to raise money to fight cancer. The event raised more than $400,000 (and still growing) to fund crucial cancer research. Continue Reading →
