Greenwich Hospital announced on Monday that Maureen Bonanno and Dana Rogers will be honored at the annual Under the Stars event on Saturday, June 25 at Riverside Yacht from 6:30 to 11:30 pm.
Bonanno and Rogers will be recognized for their leadership and volunteer efforts in establishing this popular summer benefit, which has raised significant funds over the years for the hospital’s Pediatric Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
A casual event, Under the Stars is expected to draw more than 400 guests from Fairfield and Westchester counties. Under a canopy of stars, attendees will enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing against the scenic backdrop of the Long Island Sound. The evening also includes an exciting array of silent, live and wine auction items.
Each year, Greenwich Hospital’s Pediatric Department and NICU provide life-saving care to more than 22,000 children from birth through 21 years. The Pediatric Department staff includes pediatricians, medical specialists, nutritionists, therapists, psychologists and other experts who deliver a full range of inpatient and outpatient programs. The Level III-A NICU provides round-the-clock care for infants as young as 27 gestational weeks with a highly trained team of neonatologists, neonatal nurses and nurse practitioners. The unit is equipped with the latest lifesaving technology to give struggling infants their greatest chance for a healthy outcome.
