Barbecue, guitars, art, musical bands, funnel cakes, and rides have one thing in common, you can find them all at this year’s St. Roch Feast. Each year, St. Roch parish hosts an annual feast in the Chickahominy section of Greenwich.
The Feast, began at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Roch Church, on 10 St. Roch St., across Hamilton Avenue School, and continues through the weekend. It’s always great to see community spirit, people working together, and having a great time.
Formally established in 1938, St. Roch Roman Catholic church in Greenwich is part of the Diocese of Bridgeport. Every August people from all over town come to have a good time, which proves it will continue to be a tradition in town.
