Parks & Rec Sandblast Sand Sculpture Contest Takes a New Shape in Summer 2020

Parks & Rec announced that the 2020 Sandblast Sand Sculpture Contest will take a new form this summer due to Covid.

This year instead of everyone gathering at Tod’s Point and building sand sculptures on the same day, residents can email in a photo of their submission.

Throughout the summer, create your best sand sculpture and submit a photo for an opportunity to win a prize

Submissions should be sent via e-mail to: [email protected] and include a title and picture of sculpture, full name(s) of sculptor(s), and home address.

The deadline to submit photos is Friday, August 28.

Contest open to Greenwich residents only.

The Town reserves the right to use photos in Town media.

Parks & Rec thanks its sponsor, Logos Greenwich, 12 Riversville Rd, Greenwich.

Tod’s Point is open this summer with a limited capacity so that beachgoers can safely social distance.
