Reverend Jason Pankau. In addition to being the Senior Pastor of two church plants in New England, Pastor Jason served on the staff of Stanwich Church in Greenwich for six years. There he developed the Omega Course and his mentoring ministry which led to the creation and commissioning of the Life Spring Network in 2006. Pastor Jason is the author of Beyond Self-Help: The True Path to Harnessing God’s Wisdom, Realizing Life’s
Potential and Living the Abundant Life.

From 2009-2014, he worked primarily with Trinity Church in Roselle, IL to transform their leadership and congregation into a holistic, transformational disciple-making community. In 2014 he was commissioned to the LUKE project which focused on revitalizing five congregations in Chicago. In 2017, he and his family moved to the inner city of Chicago to plant Chicago Hope Church, a multi-cultural, disciple-making community on the Near West Side of Chicago. This is where they expanded their family of four children and took in students and people from the community in need.

Pastor Jason met his wife Jen while attending Brown University where they quickly discovered their mutual love for Jesus. In addition to academics, they were both involved in athletics. Pastor Jason, a former two-sport All-American athlete, served as captain of the football team. He earned a B.A in Business Economics and in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University and a Masters of Divinity from
Southern Theological Seminary. He completed his course work for his Doctorate in Christian Leadership at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Jen went on to earn a Masters degree in Social Work from Boston University then began working for the Massachusetts Dept. of Social Services. There Jen focused on foster care and adoption before they began a family of their own.

As the Pankau’s circle back to Greenwich, a town that is very special to them, Pastor Jason shares the following: “Living Hope Community Church (formerly the Presbyterian Church of Old Greenwich) has been a pillar of faith, a family motivated by love to serve the greater Old Greenwich community into a vibrant faith in Jesus. My wife Jen and I are excited to be called back to Greenwich to be a part of what God is doing!”
