Joan Lunden is Greenwich Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Women Who Matter Luncheon

Greenwich Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that its Women Who Matter featured speaker this year is Joan Lunden.

Joan will present at a Luncheon being held at Greenwich Country Club on October 16, 2020 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.

An award-winning journalist, prolific best-selling author, motivational speaker and women’s health and wellness advocate, Lunden has been a trusted voice in American home for over 30 years.

For nearly two decades Joan Lunden greeted viewers each morning on Good Morning America as the longest-running female host on early morning television.  She has graced the covers of more than 70 magazines and book covers.

Lunden is a senior caregiving advocate and breast cancer survivor.  She has served as national spokesperson for various organizations such as The American Heart Association, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, The American Lung Association, The American Red Cross, The American Academy of Pediatrics and The Colon Cancer Alliance.

She is the mother of seven and makes her home with her husband Jeff in Greenwich.

Joan will share why her latest book, Why Did I Come Into This Room:  A Candid Conversation About Aging, will help everyone undertake the challenge of aging with humor and resilience.  Everyone who attends the Luncheon will receive a copy of this newly released book.

The Chamber’s Women Who Matter Luncheon celebrates women who make a difference and who have a real impact on our community and beyond.  The Greenwich-based speaker focuses not just on her bio but what really “matters” to her and how it has contributed to her success.
